Accountemps has partnered with a growing company to recruit a stellar Bookkeeper for immediate hire. This Bookkeeper position would be a great fit for someone with prior A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting experience. The short term temporary-to-fulltime Bookkeeper will work in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage general ledger

- Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping

- Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents

- Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

- Review payments received and record deposits

- Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries
- 3+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper

- Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired

- Microsoft Excel experience desired

- Command of financial statement preparation

- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
