Jobing Description

Position Description:

• Define and document business processes and projects


• Consult with business departments to identify requirements


• Define project scope and objectives


• Model business processes (current and future)


• Evaluate system changes for downstream system and/or organizational impacts


• Prioritize and track all issues to resolution


• Escalate issues to the Project Manager as appropriate


• Provide agendas and follow up with meeting minutes


• Participate in prototyping solutions to provide the business unit a preliminary evaluation and/or user interface experience


• Work with the business to identify minimum performance expectations and service levels


• Develop and maintain working relationships at all levels of the business unit


• Validate that all functions perform according to the relevant specifications


• Acquire and maintain working knowledge of databases, file systems and architecture that support the application


• Facilitate and or assist with group meetings


• Manage small to medium projects from inception through implementation


• Manage organizational change


• Comply with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology


• Provide required problem and status and time reporting

Positions in this function work in the business analysis phase of the system development cycle and consult with users to define business processes and the information systems for supporting those processes. Skills / Requirements

Requirements:

• 3+ years working in any role within a Software Development Life Cycle


• 
  
  3+ years experience in customer service role requiring direct contact with the end user
  


• 
  
  2+ years experience writing SQL select statements
  


• Bachelor's degree required

Assets:

• Any experience working in a healthcare claims review workflow (pre-pay, post-pay - any aspect of claims review)


• Expert with the creation of Excel Macros
