Client Relationship Specialist, Accounts Receivable

Position Summary
As a Client Relationship Specialist, Accounts Receivable you will be responsible for monitoring the receivables on business to business account balances and specialized accounts for long term care facilities. This role is essential to ensuring the continued reconciliation of client account balances through the negotiation of payments arrangements and interpretation of client agreements. As part of the Facilities team you will work in a high volume, customer service oriented, team focused environment to help resolve client account balances.
As you support Omnicare, a CVS Health company, we will support you by offering all the tools and resources you need in a collaborative team based environment. Our goal is to ensure you are able to provide top tier service and resolution for our facilities accounts.
The Client Relationship Specialist, Accounts Receivable on the Facilities team is responsible for:

  • Contact facilities representatives by phone to reconcile account balances.
  • Monitor portfolio of accounts for compliance to contractual payment terms.
  • Partner cross functionally with different teams to resolve complex client issues.
  • Retrieve copies of invoices and send via email, fax or mail for account resolution.
  • Documenting client communications in the receivables systems.
  • Processing payments and following up on promised payments.
  • Identifying, communicating and escalating issues to management or appropriate leader.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Preferred Qualifications
3 + years of experience with the below qualifications.
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid. Experience in negotiating payment arrangements.
  • Receivables or collections experience preferably in a healthcare setting.

3+ years of experience in the following:
  • High volume customer service environment Business to Business Collections, or related financial operations function, using automated financial systems.
  • Microsoft Office required, specifically Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint.
