We are looking to add to our professional, dedicated and hardworking team an independent, talented, top-notch Senior Manager, General Accounting with a great work ethic who thrives in organizations that constantly adapt and evolve.

Under the direction of the Senior Director, Accounting and Systems, the Senior Manager, General Accounting is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the accounting staff and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of Simpleview subsidiaries’ financial and accounting records. This is both a leadership position responsible for the training and management of three accounting staff, as well as a ‘hands-on’ position that will also ‘do’ work beyond reviewing work product of the team. Both skill sets will be critical for the successful candidate. 
  • Directing the work of the accounting staff and performing general accounting tasks such as cash reconciliations, processing accounts payable, time & expense record keeping, billing and collection of accounts receivable, assisting with financial and tax audits, fixed asset activity, payroll, and others.
  • Coordinating monthly closing activities and ensuring timely production of accurate financial reports, including an annual financial statement audit, and year-end tax returns.
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements and organizational reporting. This includes currency translation for non-US entities.
  • Supporting the Sr. Director, Accounting and Systems in ensuring adequate governance, policies, procedures and control frameworks across the business to address key risks, compliance to law/regulations and integrity of the financial results.
  • Assisting the Sr. Director, Accounting and Systems in the management of external and internal audits.
  • Developing new processes and workflows and improving existing processes and workflows within the function.
  • Creating and maintaining a highly engaged, high performing team. Actively supporting individual professional development.
  • Proactive involvement in the continued implementation of the new ERP and other key systems, including the systems integration of acquired businesses.
  • Performing other duties as assigned or required.

  • Accounting degree with a minimum 5+ years of experience in a corporate environment of scale ($20M+ revenue) and at least 3 years of public accounting or accounting-related field is highly preferred.
  • CPA designation and mastery of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required.
  • Experience managing AR, AP, and month-end processes is required.
  • Experience directing, supervising, training and coaching multiple accounting staff required.
  • Experience consolidating multiple entities within a Group and Foreign Currency exposure preferred.
  • Experience working with enterprise-wide accounting systems preferred. NetSuite and QuickBooks 2017 Pro is a plus.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • Highly collaborative and possess excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effectively able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
  • Ability and desire to see the ‘big picture’ and recommend/implement appropriate changes and solutions.
  • Intellectually curious, embracing innovation and creativity.
