Responsible for implementing API solutions and support end-to-end delivery of small projects (up to 1000 hours) as Developer
Maintain compliance to service guideline and implement new service patterns under the guidance of Senior team members
Assist triage-lead on operational support
Specialist in assigned domain and have some knowledge of additional domains
Analyze and correct medium to high complexity issues local to application.
Mentor team members and adhere to technical direction, standards (security & compliance), guidelines and methodology for use in specified technologies in own discipline.
Effective written and verbal communication skills are required to facilitate meetings with both technical and business audiences, often across multiple functional departments within MCS. Able to lead and work with geographically dispersed teams including on and offshore.
Deliver on delegated management level tasks (talent evaluation)
Must have basic understanding of the Agile methodology and the tools used to complete the delivery. Able to work independependently on the tools and process used in the team.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in working IBM message Broker/IIB/App Connect including the following:
Experience on SOAP and REST based Web Services and WSDL in the context of integration scenarios involving Web Services and WebSphere Message Broker.
Extensive experience in exposing data from legacy systems with IBM WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message Broker/Integration Bus.
Experience on ESQL and Java for routing and enrichment of incoming messages in Compute, Java Compute and Filter nodes
Experience on upgrade projects across WebSphere Message Broker versions.
Strong Experience in utilizing the transformation components such as Mapping, XSLT, Compute, Database, Filter for developing message flows.
Experience working with JCN and JDBC for Database connectivity from Message Broker.
Troubleshoot and Debug message flow applications using the Trace nodes and Message Broker Toolkit debugger.
Experience with XML, XMLNS, SOAP, JSON and fixed length message formats.
Experience with a broad array of data formats including XML, JSON, SAP IDOC, ANSI X12 EDI, EDIFACT, COBOL Copybooks and various open standard and proprietary flavors of XML schemas, as well as user-defined flat-file and delimited formats.
Experience working with various platforms like AIX and Linux to monitor and run components of Message Broker and WMQ.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an Agile based development environment, using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration, CI/CD, Kanban
Cloud development experience

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred)
