Job Description
The Bank Accounting Analyst is responsible for the reconciliation, analysis, forecasting, budgeting and financial accuracy of various Retail balance sheet accounts that may include (but not limited to) cash, credit card receivable, money transfer services, lottery, prepaid/gift cards, etc. It is also responsible for the determination of associated P&L losses impacting those accounts. In addition, it supports, analyzes the integrity of, and performs the daily cash sweep of local store bank accounts.

Required Qualifications
1+ years experience in accounting, analytics, and/or budgeting
1+ years Microsoft Office experience, preferably with an emphasis on Excel and Access

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ experience in accounting, analytics, and/or budgeting
- Experience Financial institution experience and/or retail experience
- High level organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to perform root-cause analysis
- Ability to navigate through financial systems
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with upper level management and external/internal groups
- Customer service skills
- Develop and implement solutions for potential issues and opportunities
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-motivated

Education
Verifiable Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Degrees in Accounting or Finance preferred
