In the Compliance Consultant - Senior role, you will work with various CVS Health business areas including Payer Relations, Third Party, and departments that handle 340B drugs to identify, assess, and implement regulatory and/or mandated requirements that have an impact on these business operations. Additionally, you will assist others in the Business Compliance Office to review and research compliance inquiries from other CVS Health business departments. You will participate as needed with internal Risk Reviews and Compliance Reviews for specific business areas.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

* Review relevant laws and regulations and assess their applicability and impact on the enterprise business areas.
* Consult with business area(s), key business stakeholders, and Legal to evaluate and establish the appropriate steps to determine the actions which are needed to comply with any laws and regulations.
* Assist business owners with identifying requirements for projects; assess business work plans and solutions; track progress of regulatory solutions; and validate effectiveness of these solutions.
* Maintain ongoing compliance relationships with business areas and participate in discussions and/or meetings about new initiatives or products in the business areas to contribute compliance insights.
* Establish oneself as the Subject Matter Expert of Payer Relations, Third Party, and 340B in the Business Compliance Office. Other potential areas of expertise may be required.
* Provide compliance support (as needed) to internal Risk Reviews and/or Risk Assessments of assigned business areas.
* Ensure new and established monitoring activities for the business areas are completed with the required documentation.
* Work with other Business Compliance Office associates to research and gather details related to internal compliance inquiries from CVS Health business departments.
* Other tasks as determined by management.

This position can work out of our offices in Cumberland, RI; Northbrook, IL; or Scottsdale, AZ.

Limited travel may be required.

Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience with the MS Office Suite including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* 1+ year of experience in Payer Relations or Third Party claims.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a regulated environment
* Previous experience in areas dealing with Retail, Mail, Specialty, or Long-Term Care pharmacies
* Ability to perform research, learn new processes and analyze these processes, and identify gaps in processes
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
* Detail oriented with strong deductive and problem solving skills
* Extremely flexible to adapt to changing requirements and enthusiastic about learning new business information and skills
* Experience performing legal and/or regulatory research

Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
