Job Description
* Organize, Schedule meetings with business users to understand, document the purpose, goal and objectives of the report/extract request.
* Create technical specification document, including the implementation methodologies using tools and technologies such as SQL, Tableau, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
* Collaborate with business partners to design the automatic data acquisition or data delivery process for the required reporting data using various tools and technologies such as SFTP, Control-M, Batch scripts, SSIS and Sql Server Database.
* Design and build scalable reporting solutions to continuously monitor trends, pattern, outliers on various clinical and operational metrics which impacts patient’s health and operation performance.
* Build Radar dashboards and Reporting Workbench reports with in Epic Hyperspace environment for Clinical, Revenue Cycle, Operations and other business teams.
* Work collaboratively with the business users in testing phase and ensures the final deliveries of extracts and reports meet the business needs.
* Conduct rigorous analyses of clinical and operational Data using appropriate data analysis techniques and provide accurate insights/inference that advance enterprise strategic goals.
* Identify, assess and resolve complex business problems, issues, risks and facilitate issue resolution and risk mitigation.
* Review Epic upgrade documentation related to reporting and implement the changes as per the guidelines defined.
* Respond promptly to the needs of end-users, and meets Service Level Agreements as defined with clients.
* Participate in project meetings as a key contributor with stakeholders from operations, clinical, payer relations and analytics team.
* Share the expertise and coach other less experienced developers in Epic reporting.
* Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
* 5 years’ experience with SQL development. Ability to write complex relational and multidimensional SQL queries and complex stored procedures.
* 4 - 6 years’ experience with business intelligence tools such as Microsoft BI stack, SAP Business Objects, Tableau is highly preferred.
* 2 or more years’ healthcare reporting/analytics experience preferred.
* Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS is a plus.
* Prior experience working with an EHR system and understanding of clinical and revenue cycle data are highly preferable.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills are mandatory.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills. Can effectively translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Ability to build consensus across teams, with staff and leadership.
* Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, agile reporting environment.
* Understands the technology capability as it relates to the business requirements.
* Understanding of change management techniques, and the ability to apply them.

Preferred Qualifications
Current Epic certification: Cogito certification and Cogito Data Model is preferred

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related Engineering fields.
* Master’s Degree is preferred.
