Job Description
This position will be part of a six member audit team responsible for recovering over $10M in P&L savings and is responsible for the identification, negotiation, settlement and collection of overpayments uncovered during occupancy audits of CVS store Leases. This position will assist the Senior Lease Audit Consultant in the completion of special project audits. This position will act as a liaison between CVS and all landlord personnel and will collaborate with CVS internal partners to resolve audit claims (Real Estate, Legal, Lease Accounting and Property Administration). This position is part of the CVS Health Internal Audit Department located at the CVS Finance Center in Cumberland, RI.

-Directly responsible for the negotiation, settlement and collection of overpayments uncovered during occupancy/Lease audits
-Resolve audit issues with the CVS Store Accounting group to ensure issues are properly documented and allow for future savings through the invoice review process. Act as a liaison between CVS and all landlord personnel (Owners, VP’s, Treasurers, Controllers, Property Managers)
-Assist the Senior Audit Manager in the development of special audit projects to increase audit recoveries
-Responsible for the development and evaluation of new audit procedures as they relate to individual landlord billing practices
-Perform other duties as directed by the Senior Manager of Lease Audit

Required Qualifications
-Knowledge of computer applications, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications
-0-2 years previous Accounting or Lease Audit experience in a retail environment
-Excellent verbal and written skills
-Ability to negotiate with Landlords to settle audit claims

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Accounting Preferred
