The IT Quality Assurance Test Analyst, Senior is responsible for defining comprehensive test strategies, plans and environments for manual or automated testing. They leverage existing test cases and develop efficient new test cases to validate business requirements are met. Incumbents support execution of test cases and validation of the test case results for the products under test. Works collaboratively with both technical and business oriented project team members to resolve issues. Senior QA Test Analyst adheres to the CVS Enterprise Methodology, project scope and to the CVS project standards. Must provide solutions that meet the business objectives and deliver on time, on budget with a high degree of quality.

· Plan testing in a timely manner to ensure requirements are met
· Validate Business Needs are met by development of accurate test cases
· Adhere to the CVS values

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The IT Quality Assurance Test Analyst, Senior participates in the full life cycle of the project, with particular emphasis on handling the more technical aspects of the proper implementation and maintenance of appropriate tools, as well as the adequate creation, maintenance and execution of test cases to ensure the viability of the systems being built. Abides by and promotes the IS Enterprise Methodology as well as its evolution. While responsibilities will vary from project to project, is typically expected to:
1. Understand and leverage existing manual and/or automated test cases; where needed, design and develop new test cases in line with the test strategy and plan 40%
2. Participate in team review of requirements/design documentation for purposes of test planning and to validate requirements testability - define test environment requirements and develop expertise in the application under test and associated CVS business processes 25%
3. Communicate directly with Project Managers and/or Test Lead to identify testing tasks and associated estimates, proper implementation and utilization of various tools, including source control, issue tracking, test case definition tracking and test case execution - implement and develop overall test strategy and test plan for manual and/or automated testing 15%
4. Support execution of test cases and the validation of results, manage workload to a schedule, meet deadlines and provide first tier of triage for project defects found during test 20%

Required Qualifications
-Minimum 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Experience with Agile Test Methodology and Agile Development Process
- Experience with tools ALM, JIRA, Rally
- Experience in testing and writing SQL statements for Data Validation and back-end testing

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years previous testing experience in test planning and execution including estimating, test case development and meeting project quality requirements
- Experience with automated test tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, UI Path and/or UFT preferred
- Experience in testing Web services/XML/SOAP and RESTful services using SOAPUI Tool
- Experience with Batch processes
- Eagerness and proven ability to work as a leader
- Ability to handle multiple project at the same time
- Ability to bridge communication among technical and non-technical project staff and customers.
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies and understanding of the software development life-cycle and the ability to evaluate comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Strong experience with manual testing.
- Ability to break a project down into specific tasks with estimates.
- Ability to manage to a schedule and meet deadlines.
- Risk assessment, negotiation, analytical, problem resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Programming or scripting skills preferred.
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience with offshore partners
- Experience with Outside Vendors

Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or business administration or equivalent experience.
