Job Description
As a Retail Accounting Consultant, you will be responsible for the accurate accounting/recording of incoming checks received from external sources. There will be management of the process of the deposited checks. The Retail Accounting Consultant position is also responsible for the reconciliation and analysis of company bank accounts including the posting of required bank charges and fees as needed, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Additional Responsibilities include:
- Journal entries
- Research
- Bookkeeping

Required Qualifications
1+ years of Retail experience
1+ years Excel and Access
2+ years of Accounting/analytical experience

Preferred Qualifications
Hands on Accounting application (technical) experience
Problem solving skills; perform root-cause analysis
Financial institution experience
Customer Service skills
Clearly and accurately verbalize with internal and external customers
Develop and implement solutions for potential issues and opportunities
High level of accuracy and detail
High level organizational skills
Navigate through financial systems
Bookkeeping skills
Self directed

Education
Associate degree or equivalent excpereince required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
