The VP, Customer Vertical and Product Finance Officer will lead a large, multi level team dedicated to supporting the execution of CVS Caremark’s Business growth and profit strategy (specifically related to distribution, product, and capital management strategies.). In this role, the VP will be responsible for finance leadership in support of customer verticals / distribution organizations, PBM product, capital planning & capital related process improvement and enterprise economics & Transformation coordination for the PSS segment. This role will support the SVPs of Employer Plans, Health Plans, Product & Medical Affairs and interface with various EC members, Segment and Corporate teams.

Executive oversight of all aspects of finance customer vertical and product administration for the Pharmacy Services Segment of CVS, including:
-Build out & lead customer vertical finance org, which is a critical function to support Caremark Strategy and Strategic Plan Playbook
-Directly influence actions of this customer vertical and product business units and organizational business strategies through aligned partnership with Sr. Executive level leaders
-Ensure the financial assumptions related to line of businesses, new and existing products and services are appropriate and aligned to business strategy
-Manage the Sales Incentive Compensation Operations function for PSS Segment - ensuring strong operational execution & a set of sales compensation plans aligned to business strategy
-Drive innovation throughout the enterprise by leading the Capital Planning and Process Improvement coordination / governance of this segment.
-Direct reports include Executive Director, Sr. Director, Director and other similar level roles which lead the day to day functions of PSS Segment Capital Planning and Process Improvement, PBM Product and Transformation Finance Support and Finance Officer support of the following customer verticals (Health Plan, Government Plan, Employer Plan, Coalition and TPA.)
-Partner with the following areas: Channel Finance, Sales, Client Services, Underwriting, Product, Clinical, Operations and other areas of the business to drive tighter linkages between systems and processes.

Responsibilities:
-Develop strategy and lead execution for transforming financial support for Pharmacy Services Segment customer verticals and the Medicare & Medicaid Line of Businesses. Drive and support structured linkage between Finance, Underwriting & Distribution related to customer vertical growth strategy and management process.
-Develop strategy and lead execution for transforming financial support for Pharmacy Services Segment PBM Products (including coordination with enterprise teams on Transformation and Enterprise Economics)
-Lead the business function for PSS sales incentive compensation operations - ensure payment integrity and support the development of compensation plans which align to the segment business strategy
-Lead the governance process related to Capital Planning and related process improvement for the Pharmacy Services Segment
-Collaborate with Key Finance and Business partners related to managing operating plan in support of business strategy

Required Qualifications
15+ years financial leadership experience in a PBM or related business.
Demonstrated experience leading teams in an executive role.
Extensive change management experience.
Proven experience developing and executing financial strategies.
Demonstrated financial analytics experience.

Preferred Qualifications
CPA or MBA

Bachelor's Degree
