Job Description

OBJECTIVE

The Coordinator I, Payroll/Billing will perform all rehabilitation billing services for Your Life Your Way and Transportation including other rehabilitation billings for private pay, Veteran’s Administration and any other payor source.

QUALIFICATIONS  

Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree in Accounting from an accredited business college, one year’s clerical experience. A valid Colorado driver’s license without a history of violations is also required. Must have a minimum of one year of experience completing Medicaid Billing.

The incumbent must have the ability to communicate and conduct self with diplomacy, work independently, demonstrate flexibility, good judgment, and decision-making and possess strong technical skills. The Coordinator I, Payroll & Billing must be able to work under the direction of several people, organize and follow through with duties and be able to cope with some amount of pressure. The incumbent must also conduct self in a professional manner, maintain a professional appearance that enhances the firm’s reputation, and be a positive role model.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS {Essential Functions}

Rehabilitation Billing and Tracking

The Coordinator I, Payroll & Billing is primarily responsible for all Your Life Your Way payroll and billing duties, as well as being responsible for Medicaid, private pay clients and other payer sources. The Coordinator I, Payroll & Billing is responsible for ensuring all agency invoices are completed in a timely fashion and aging account receivables are monitored and collected also be responsible for all aging for other Workforce Development and Community Programs.

Relationship Management

The Coordinator I, Payroll & Billing is responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive and professional relationship with all customers, vendors, outside agencies, and Goodwill Workforce Development and Community Services staff. The incumbent must also partner with internal customers by communicating changes in direction, implementation issues requests for assistance to achieve goals and inform management of progress, considerations, and pertinent information regarding billing and payroll issues. In addition, the Coordinator I, Payroll & Billing will participate in team meetings and in-service training sessions when necessary. The incumbent will deal effectively and calmly with non-routine situations following accepted guidelines, and will communicate significant problems to the Family Services Program Manager and perform other duties as required by Rehabilitation Management; will maintain the highest level of contact with the Scheduling, Intakes and Family Services Supervisor’s, and with the Directors in Workforce Development and Community Programs to maintain seamless services to clients and employees.
