Accounts Receivable Clerk (18267)

Enchantment’s accounting team manages all financial transactions on property, supporting the resort’s various departments and ensuring that each guest has a seamless billing experience.

Basic Function:

Accurately processes and collect accounts receivable for the resort

Work Performed:

1. Audit BEO’s to IG tickets daily and file
2. Audit all postings to A/R daily and file
3. Go to Group Pre-con meetings
4. Calculate reasonable group estimates
5. Collect deposits as necessary
6. Process applications for direct bill
7. Bill groups timely and accurately
8. Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of billing processing
9. Post payments and adjustments
10. Work with other departments to get timely and accurate information for billing
11. Do A/R related G/L reconciliations
12. Review ledgers for outstanding items and reasonableness
13. Make collection calls on accounts
14. Update Group Billing spreadsheet with charges and payments
15. Take guest billing query phone calls, research any problems and correct any errors
16. Responsible for advising supervisor on concerns, problems and ways of improving collections
17. Cross train with Accounting Department for Cash and Daily
18. Absolute integrity and confidentiality
19. Other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university preferred or equivalent work experience. Prior experience in accounts receivable preferably in hospitality/food service industry. Must have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with ease. Strong team member relations skills. Computer skills required to include Word, Excel, and Outlook. Good 10 key skills. Must be able to learn and operate hospitality software programs
