Position Summary:

 

Responsible for processing payroll tax payments, corrections, tax notices, file generations and account reconciliation for Execupay clients. Work with internal and external clients, federal, state and local tax agencies on all payroll tax matters while demonstrating exceptional customer service.

 

Essential Dues and Responsibilities

- Responsible for submitting 3rd party access for all clients, states and local tax jurisdictions

- Daily payment and filing of all federal, state and local taxing jurisdictions

- Responsible for submitting 3rd party access for all clients, states and local tax jurisdictions

- Daily payment and filing of all federal, state and local taxing jurisdictions

- Registration of EFTPS pins online for Execupay clients

- Research and resolve client tax notices - work directly with tax agencies, clients and team members

- Proactively update clients or team members on ticket statuses

- Prioritize tickets to quickly resolve them in a timely manner

- Assist in processing of all client's quarter-end and year end filings and deposits for Federal, State and Local Tax Jurisdictions

- Daily process ACH file debit and credit files

- Assist and Process state and local 3rd party registrations and bulk filing for Execupay

- Manage quarterly and year-end payroll tax processes and project plans for Execupay Clients

- Responsible for filing amended tax returns for clients

- Maintain current knowledge of Federal, State and Local payroll tax legislation.

- Identify and drive process improvements consistent with industry best practices

- Develop payroll tax procedures, participate in software enhancement

- Answer and respond to calls and inquiries from clients, local, federal, and state agencies

- Performs other tax duties as assigned

Skill / Requirements

- FPC or CPP preferred

- High School Diploma or GED

- Minimum 2 years of work-related knowledge, skills or experience in payroll processing, tax processing or accounting experience

- Preferred payroll tax knowledge - Federal, State and Local

- Account Reconciliation and General Ledger

- Knowledge of federal, state and local payroll tax regulations

- Time & self-management, attention to detail

- Knowledge filing and paying payroll tax return

- High degree of professionalism and enthusiasm

- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material

- Team player with a positive attitude 

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently

- Strong organization, time management, and customer service skills

Important Notes

Must have payroll tax experience

Ability to work full time in San Antonio office
