Accounting Manager - Finance

College degree in accounting or related field with at least 4 years of experience in accounting and supervision. Computer literacy required, including familiarity with automated general ledger software and experience with spreadsheets and word processors. High level of knowledge concerning accounting practices and procedures, ability to handle many tasks simultaneously under extreme pressure and time deadlines, and the ability to maintain human relations with others as required. Supervises all payroll, accounts payable and general accounting activities. Prepares and analyzes monthly financial statements. Prepares and maintains budgets. Prepares information for auditors, and assists in audits as needed. Performs or assists in funding applications, invoicing and report processing for revenue contracts. Prepares or assists in returns/reports to governmental agencies, such as income tax returns and reports on pension plan and benefits. Monitors cash flow and investment activities.
