The Financial Planning & Analysis Supervisor Provides leadership and supervision to the financial analysis team. Responsibilities include managing the budget process and producing a final budget, preparing the financial statistical report FSR and related reports for the Medicaid lines of business, assisting in the preparation of the Annual Statement, preparing monthly reforecasts of revenue, expenses and capital, managing the IBNR claim liability with consistent and sound judgement, preparing ad hoc financial projections and analysis for RFP's including but not limited to reinsurance vendors, assisting with data preparation for financial and regulatory audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines for deliverables assigned to the team. The Supervisor of Financial Planning & Analysis also provides data and insights into emerging cost trends for both gross margin and administrative expenses and meets with department owners to drive cost saving initiatives. The Supervisor shall be able to present data and insights at both a high and detailed level depending on the consumer of the information and situation. The Supervisor also continually improves processes through automation and computer coding and ensures the processes result in accurate work.
