Job Profile

Position Summary:

Primary duties include:
Performing charge-to-bill reviews that ensure that the charge capture processes are accurate, appropriate, and consistent with state/federal regulations.
Providing a post-audit a report that summarizes the accuracy of the charges reviewed, any opportunities for improving processes, as well as recommendations for improvements when necessary.
Preparing post-audit training material that is relevant to the issues identified.
Performing the necessary departmental training in order to ensure that processes are corrected long-term. Strong written and verbal skills are necessary in order to communicate with various levels of management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Registered Nurse License

Work Experience: 3 years in utilization review/care management/quality/denial management/compliance

Management Experience (Years and Area): N/A
