The Premium Billing Coordinator is responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly processing of client premium payments, review and reconciliation of client invoices as needed, track all remittances for clients per account per month, interact with vendors via phone, email to verify receipt of payments and proper payment posting, monitor accounts to make sure payments are received within designated due dates, and provide account details as requested interdepartmentally. The Premium Billing Coordinator will have experience with handling accounts that are tiered in out-of-pocket for members, deductible, co-insurance, and lifetime max as applicable and will have fundamental accounting principles to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash handling, general ledger credits and debits.
