Corporate Controller
Marin Management Inc. is currently seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a corporate controller. This position is based in our Sausalito, CA office, and works with senior leadership to oversee all related accounting best practices for a portfolio of hotels. We are seeking local applicants only.

    -As a Marin Management employee, you will receive company-issued cell phone and laptop.
    -Be eligible to participate in the company-sponsored health insurance program after 60-days. The company pays 90% of the employees' monthly premiums.
    -Receive two weeks paid vacation after completing one full year of service
    -Be eligible to participate in the 401K program with company match after completing one year of employment
    -Receive six paid company recognized holidays per year

The Marin Management corporate controller will provide leadership and support to the area and regional managers for multi-locations and is responsible but not limited to the following job duties.

    -Accurate financial reporting
    -Analysis and processing of accounting transactions
    -Complete monthly reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
    - Issue timely, accurate, and complete financial statements
    -Conduct hotel audits as needed
    -Monitor the performance of financials and overall budgeting
    -Review and approve the transfer of funds and cash disbursements
    -Works with contracted accounting firms to provide accurate and timely reporting to the company and hotel owners
    -Takes the lead role in the transition of new hotels to ensure all accounting-related items are completed
    -Prepare financial analysis for the progress of each location to include any variance with the explanation
    -Manages hotels' cash flow and monitors guest ledgers, accounts receivables, accounts payables, and credit processes
    -Develop and implement financial control procedures and systems; ensure compliance with government regulations and contractual agreements.
    -Communicate via telephone or in-person with owners as needed
