Job Summary
Responsible for maximizing effectiveness and efficiency of Tax Institute business operations through analytical reporting, customer and vendor relationship management and limited technical troubleshooting and support. This role requires strong organization skills, strong written and verbal communications skills and a limited amount of technical know-how sufficient to diagnose and troubleshoot basic issues with common corporate programs (ex., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Forms, Survey Monkey, etc.). 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Runs and maintains weekly Excel reporting for multiple teams within the Tax Institute, pulling from multiple databases.
• Monitors reporting data to determine and highlight patterns and anomalies.
• Designs, builds and maintains other Excel reports, as needed.
• Communicates with Tax Institute customers and resolves basic account related issues and technical issues.
• Partners with Human Resources and Facilities departments to facilitate smooth hiring and onboarding of new associates.
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment
This job is performed in a normal office environment. Physical requirements include ability to operate a workstation computer and to work at a desk for long periods of time. Occasional opportunities to move to other locations within the building and surrounding locations for meetings, to obtain information, perform basic office tasks (FAX, photocopying), etc.

Minimum requirements
Moderate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with Pivot tables, tables, and writing formulas
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Detail Oriented.
Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize a heavy, complex workload to meet business deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with staff and upline members of the organization.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and take initiative.
Typing skills at 50 WPM or more

Preferred requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field, or 3 years of relevant experience in a similar office environment.
Extensive Microsoft Excel skills, including creating complex formulas with multiple relations.
Basic knowledge of individual income tax is preferred, but not required.
