Position Overview

The Manager, GlobalView/SAP is responsible for payroll activities including acquisitions and divestitures, overseeing the payroll and time systems, and overseeing general ledger, tax reporting, and account reconciliation processes. This role is also responsible for executing enterprise-wide Payroll projects and activities which may span multiple business, countries, and across multiple functions; ensuring that the assigned project deliverables are provided on time, within budget, and in accordance to specifications and/or business requirements.  The Manager, GlobalView/SAP will prepare process documentation and implement process improvement efforts for the payroll teams.  This position supports the Director, Global Payroll to assess overall project risks and hurdles and reports wider issues; confirms deliverables are received, verified, reconciled, and delivered timely.  This role is will manage multiple projects simultaneously; keeping the Project Team, and Stakeholders apprised of project milestones, scope and expectations as well as performance issues and risks. 

Duties and Responsibilities

M&A:  Responsible for timely and accurate integration of Payroll for all newly acquired businesses.

  • Project Management:  Follows disciplines related to Project Management: Scope, Quality, Resource, Cost, Issue, and Communications.

  • Work with third party vendors, HR and/or IT for all Payroll systems enhancements, upgrades and patches. 

  • Document payroll processes and controls to be used by global payroll teams to ensure compliance and process excellence.

  • Conduct process improvement activities to increase accuracy, improve efficiency, and ensure appropriate controls.

  • Provide excellent customer service and support to all Functional Leads, External Vendors and Customers.

  • End-to-end Payroll M&A Experience. 

  • Synthesize information, using sound judgment, formulating conclusions, articulating data in a way that is meaningful & valuable to stakeholders/customers. 

  • Leads Project Team - sets goals, objectives and priorities; assigns and reviews project tasks and performance on a regular basis, benchmarking against key milestones deliverables, and escalates as required for changes in scope, costs, conflicts, critical patch, resources, and resolution.

  • Ensure Confidentiality, Data Privacy, Data Security and SOX requirements are met at all times.




Skill / Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, HR, IS or other related discipline.

  • 3 yrs. management of end-to-end, large-scale (1B+) Payroll, Finance and/or HR System Implementations with a focus on analyzing, troubleshooting, data reconciliations; and managing multiple legal entities projects; PMP a Plus.

  • 5+ yrs. ADP GlobalView, or SAP Payroll Integration Experience, including reporting, interface file management, & auditing.

  • 5+ yrs. utilizing & supporting payroll systems, specifically, eTime or Kronos.

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).

  • Strong analytical skills & attention to detail a must.

  • Skilled at working in fast-paced & deadline-driven environment.

  • Exceptional time management skills & ability to prioritize/multitask.

  • Integrity & trustworthiness specific to confidentiality & privacy of employee information.   Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of all payroll records.
