Graybill, today we're one of the region's premier family practice medical groups, with 12 locations throughout North San Diego County and Temecula. Our capacity to provide for our patients through the full range of care continues as we look to fill the following position:
Currently we are seeking an experienced Account Representative to join our growing team in Escondido. As an Account Rep your primary responsibilities will include entering business critical patient information into the Electronic Practice Management system including: demographics, appropriate insurances, verified charges, and all necessary adjustments. Account Reps will also be expected to manage accounts receivable aging and days out for assigned accounts, generate claims, send out patient statements, actively participate in collection procedures, field patient inquires and research and appeal claim denials and coordinate re-submissions in addition to any and all other clerical tasks as assigned.
Skill / Requirements
* 3 years prior work experience with Physician Medical Billing * Excellent customer service * Microsoft Office skills with emphasis in Excel * Familiar with various insurances (HMO vs. PPO) * Famililar with ICD-10 and CPT codes *MediCal experience preferred *NextGen or Allscripts billing a plus
