The Role

The Financial Advisor / Account Manager will join the Executive Benefits team. The Executive Benefits team consults with clients to provide guidance and to design supplemental benefit plans that address the retirement savings and income protection gaps of the key executives within an organization.  Solutions may involve using individual and corporate life and disability insurance programs to meet their objectives.

This role will be hired as part of the M Financial Group Magnet Program and will work with leaders from LoVasco, M Financial Group and top professionals in the industry; will have an executive mentor, elite sales training, access to exclusive carrier plans, coaching and peer support.

  3. Have strong project management skills and a high degree of attention to detail
  4. Are experienced working in a client-facing, consultative sales role
  5. Thrive in an entrepreneurial sales environment with a high level of autonomy, independence, and interpersonal collaboration
  6. Have a passion for insurance and financial services
  7. Are able to commit to complete a two-year sales and industry training and development program for new Advisors and Account Managers
  8. Are a “self-starter” and motivated when working in a fast-paced environment
  9. Have a strong code of professional ethics and integrity

Professional Qualifications

  • 3 years of transferable work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA, CFP, CFA, CLU, CPA a plus
  • Michigan Life and Health Insurance license or obtained within 60 day of hire
  • Hold professional licenses or are in process of obtaining licensing; Life & Health, Series 7, Series 66, etc.
