Description

Seeking a bookkeeper position who will have solid communication, organizational and customer service skills. Technology expertise demands vary, includes proficiency in applications such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks or Peachtree. A high school diploma or equivalent expected. Candidate must have at least three years’ experience, requirements may differ by firm.

Typical duties include:
* Posting journal entries
* Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations, as well as payroll processing
* Performing month-end closings

Requirements

-Quick books
-Apply customer payment
-Managing bank accounts
-Process credit card payments
-Understand Company Liability insurance/ Workers Comp, etc.
-Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
-Self-motivated and self-directed; able to work without supervision
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Able to create trust and build relationships between Vendors and Customers.
-Understand HR with W4 and I9 form for new employee.
-Managing 401k and company benefits
