Job Description

Local public company is in search of a Financial Controller. This Controller will have the responsibility for financial management and operation at the local manufacturing plant. This position will report to corporate as well as serve on the local leadership team and partner with local General Manager. Oversight of all local accounting, FP&A, as well as finance business partnership and governance. Must have 10+ years of a Controllership position with a public manufacturing company, must have experience with all oversight of complex accounting (including Manufacturing Overhead principles, Inventory and Cost Accounting as well as IFRS oversight). Oversight of all audits will be included in the responsibilities. Other responsibilities will include Risk Management, Capital Expenditures as well as all Internal Controls. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or CPA is desirable. Must have 10+ years of manufacturing experience in a similar role. Have the necessary experience to prove that you would be an asset on the local leadership team. Must have outstanding communication skills which include strong presentation skills and writing skills. Strong experience in software-such as SAP or Hyperion. Must possess strong US GAAP as well as IFRS is preferred. Strong internal controls and knowledge of FP&A and Governance. - Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

- Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience required

- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

- Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred

- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

- US GAAP experience desired

- International financial reporting standards experience

- Risk management experience

- High attention to detail and possess excellent organizational and writing skills

- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
