Job Description

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a Corporate Controller to join our Phoenix practice. The ideal candidate has 10-20 years of experience working as a Controller in large international firms. A combination of public accounting and private industry experience is a plus. 4-year bachelor degree required; CPA preferred. Candidate should have the ability to multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency and meet reporting deadlines.

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
- CPA certification
-Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted -Accounting Principles (GAAP)
-Internal and external reporting, month end close, consolidations and technical accounting skills
-Ability to work, take ownership, and succeed in a rapidly changing environment.
-Ability to lead and inspire a team of accounting professionals in a high pressure environment.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues
-Hands on experience with SAP is preferred
-Very strong Excel skills required
-Previous experience in a Big 4 or large regional accounting firm is a plus
