Description
We are in search of a determined Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. You will supervise the financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and cash flow as the Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also take care of the clerical staff. Organized accounting professionals who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision and are self-driven so succeed as a Bookkeeper, this role could be for you! This full-time, direct hire employment opportunity is based in the Scottsdale, Arizona area.

Your responsibilities

- Experienced with credit card management and reconciliation

- Work on special projects occasionally

- Execute cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

- Handle monthly accounting close

- Organize cash flow projections, as needed

- File budget transfers

- Regulate Accounts Receivable

- Provide monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

- Complete Accounts Payable

- Sort sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

- Produce subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

- Condense business license and gross receipts

Requirements
- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

- QuickBooks experience

- Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

- Crucial accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

- Detailed and have the ability work independently

- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
