Job Description

Manage all employee deductions including court-ordered garnishments and benefit deductions and maintenance
Execute time and attendance and interface with payroll for a variety of clients and software systems
Provide ad-hoc payroll reporting as needed
Gather data from multiple sources and work with many employees and pay scales
Communicate with employees and management about their paycheck and any changes that may occur
Perform compliances for payroll related reporting and data
Assist clients with the set-up and implementation of new payroll systems
Respond to wage statements and verification of employment as needed
Coordinate payroll processing in response to bank holidays, local disasters, or other interruptions
Capture manual checks and process additional pay runs; stop and re-issue checks
Calculate various payroll functions such as overtime, deductions, bonuses, commissions into the payroll system as well as through retroactive pay
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
CPP certification preferred
4-6 years experience processing multi-state payroll
