Job Description

Under the direction of the Board's Credit and Finance Director, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting with the Credit and Finance Program, processing and approving several types of loans for Tribal Members and employees. Tasks include examining and evaluating credit applications, processing a large volume of loan applications using Tribal Management software, collecting and posting payments to accounts, maintaining accurate records and files, handling cash and all related tracking and reporting. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Public Administration or closely related field is required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in finance, credit, and banking loans is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
