    • Reconcile and analyze general ledger activities including fixed assets, taxes, insurance, banking, financing and equipment leasing
    • Reconcile and analyze all balance sheet accounts
    • Prepare/publish weekly and monthly financial reports
    • Prepare and file various corporate licenses as required by regulations
    • Work with accounts payable to resolve coding issues and pricing discrepancies as they arise
    • Assist in maintaining credit files of existing customer base
    • Assist in collection of past due balances, contacting customers and sales associates for payment information and follow up as needed
    • Work with Sales Department regarding Credit holds and releasing orders
    • Work regularly with Sales Department in a team effort to reduce DSO and past due percentages
    • Process and Post payments to customer accounts received via ACH, Lockbox, credit card or US Mail
    • Maintain daily balancing of cash posting, GL and aging
    • Train as vacation relief for Credit Manager to include management of entire new customer set up process
    • Willing to perform other tasks as required by Credit Manager


    • High School Diploma or Equivalent required, AA degree in Finance/Accounting preferred
    • Must be technically proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite, Internet and e-mail
    • 2 years A/R and previous collections experience preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills required to effectively comminicate with a wide variety of people including customers, vendors and other departments
    • Albility to maintain a high level of attention to detail and work independently in a continuously changing environment
    • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen


    • Frequent stand/walk short distances within office areas or performing outside office activities
    • Constant sitting depending on task assigned for prolonged periods of time
    • Occasional bending/twisting at waist/knees/neck to and from seated position while performing routine office activities
    • Constant use of both hands/arms simultaneously while performing desktop activities, keying data, operating office equipment
    • Constant use of speech/hearing/sight abilities required to perform essential functions of the job.
    • Occasional lifting 1-10lbs
