SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Verifies third-party coverage, submits claims, follows up to ob­tain full and prompt payment for services rendered to assigned patients.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma. Ability to type at least 45 wpm. Computer literacy including spreadsheet and word processing applications, and online billing to third party payors preferred. Knowledge of Diagnostic and Procedure Coding helpful. One year or more expe­ri­­ence in hospital health care billing/collections.
