Skill / Requirements
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution with three years related payroll experience or 15 years of payroll related experience. Knowledge of payroll systems, procedures and practices. Ability to make mathematical computations with accuracy. Knowledge of bookkeeping and how payroll integrates into the accounting system. Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently, organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with frequent interruptions. Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a deadline-driven environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and customers. Experience performing with a high level of diplomacy, confidentiality and trust while projecting a professional and positive image. Ability to respond quickly and constructively to changes or unexpected shifts in priorities. Excellent computer skills and proficiency with a variety of computer applications including software such as Microsoft Office. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree with six or more years of payroll experience. Demonstrated skills in an institutional/education environment. Experience with software such as Banner, Windstar, Time Clock+ and DocuSign.
