Please note that this would be predominantly remote work over the internet. The position is part-time initially with the opportunity to transform in full time. The day to day operations involves making sure that weekly invoices are created by our providers, paid by our clients, and the payroll run properly. That will include working with our internal system to track hours and invoices, working with our payroll partner (ADP) and on a quarterly basis make sure that all taxes filed and paid.
 
We are looking for experiences and detail-oriented payroll specialist to join our 10 people startup team.
 
TrueCare24.com is an in-home senior services network. We are changing the future of how senior services are bought and delivered. Families & older adults with chronic health conditions use TrueCare24 to get reliable and affordable caregivers and other services at home.
 
Typical Day
 
We expect you to work 4-5 hours per day and a typical day will include helping new clients to complete payroll & taxes set up documentation, monitor weekly invoices and follow up with clients & providers as needed, run weekly payroll using our payroll partner system, making sure that client-provider relationship is in the compliance with state and federal regulations, and making sure that quarterly and annual filings are done properly. Also, an important part is to share your ideas and provide feedback to our product team on how we can improve product automation and improve customer service for our clients and providers.
 
Pay
 
The current workload is about 25 hours per week. We offer a salary of $2,000 per month. We are looking for team members for a long-term relationship and because TrueCare24 is growing fast, there are a lot of career opportunities in the nearest future.
 
 
As the Payroll Specialist, you lead and own good financial controls and ensures accurate processing and recording of our clients' payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, and participates in daily data entry Payroll processing. 
 
What you will do:  
 
  1.  Calculate, prepare and record weekly payroll in a complete, accurate and timely manner.  
  2. Ensure accurate data by preparing, running and analyzing reports as necessary and recording any necessary adjustments.  
  3. Processes and inputs employee personnel action forms, tax information, garnishment calculations, deductions, etc. accurately.   
  4. Customer service to all employees regarding all payroll concerns. 
  5. Process accurate and timely year-end reporting (W-2, W-2c, etc.).  
  6. Prepares payroll-related reports and ad-hoc financial and operational reporting, as requested.  
  7. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality whether in regard to payroll, other employee (or persons receiving service) information or any aspect of the work produced, seen, discussed or overheard in the Finance and Accounting Department. (Operate with integrity!)  
 

Skill / Requirements

What you MUST have: 
 
  1.  Minimum of three (3) years experience in processing payroll.
  2. Intermediate to advanced capabilities with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
  3. Associate Degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of ADP payroll processing required.
  5. Strong accounting, analytical, and investigative skills with a strong comprehension of complex concepts.
  6. Understand and adhere to the requirements of GAAP and other statutory accounting principles.
  7. Communicate effectively and disseminate pertinent information efficiently.
  8. Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters pertaining to payroll-related priorities, deadlines, and some procedural changes.
  9. Able to make sound ethical decisions.
  10. Work effectively accurately under pressure.
  11. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all individuals across departments.
  12. Capability to work and think independently with minimal guidance & willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and work product.
