Position Summary

Performs advanced, multifaceted accounting and related functions in such areas as ledger maintenance and analysis, cost and/or financial analysis, fund reconciliation, posting, and inventory control. Analyzes complex financial and operating data and prepares management reports, financial statements, and projections.

Assignment Details:

Days & Hours: Monday- Friday 8-5pm

Anticipated Start Date: 6/17/19

Projected End Date: 6/16/20

Parking Arrangements: Responsibility of the selected employee

UNMTemps provides staffing solutions to UNM departments requesting temporary employees as positions become available due to a vacancy, when regular employees are absent, for peak work periods, and for special events. As such, UNMTemps assignments/positions may end with little or no advance notice.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and successful completion of at least 12 credit hours of university-level accounting through intermediate accounting; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with UNM systems including banner,HR reports, and P-Card processes.
· Working knowledge of monthly billing andmonthly reconciliations.
· Experience working and communicating withchildren, families, and staff in an early childhood setting.
· Strong familiarity with UNM payrollprocesses, inclusive of bi-weekly and salaried employees.
· Ability to effectively work in a team.
· Strong verbal and written communicationskills.
· Experience with monthlybudget maintenance and budget development.
