|Working Title||Accountant 3|
The Department of Dental Medicine in the School of Medicine, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual, to work closely with the department administrator as an Accountant 3. The individual must be detail oriented with excellent multi-tasking, communication & organizational skills. The position includes a broad range of administrative, financial (advanced accounting) and grant management skills to oversee and manage a federally and state funded Department with multiple research and program projects that are grant and contract supported. The qualified candidate must be able to work independently, meet deadlines on time, work with both restricted and non-restricted accounts, and must be able to manage complex funds flow for revenues and expenses.
|Conditions of Employment|
Bachelor's degree and successful completion of at least 15 credit hours of university-level accounting through intermediate accounting; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
