In connection with the Middle Market Banking Credit Portfolio Management Group’s mission of supporting risk management activities, Real Estate Portfolio Services (REPS) has an immediate opportunity for a Credit Analyst 3 (CA3) in Minneapolis, MN, Charlotte,NC, and Phoenix, AZ. This position within REPS is responsible for performing credit work associated with annual reviews and renewals of investor commercial real estate relationships. The selected candidate will be part of a team that directly participates in the credit support of the Regional Commercial Banking Offices (RCBO's). REPS is aligned within the Commercial Bank and is a fundamental part of the business.
General responsibilities include working with senior management, relationship managers and credit team members to monitor and grow middle market relationships. Specifically accountable for credit and collateral underwriting, renewals and annual reviews, and coordination of pricing. Manages and promotes the maintenance of a portfolio that adheres to all applicable credit policies and compliance requirements. Works directly with RCBO team members to understand credit needs.
Team members support our focus on building customer relationships balanced with an effective risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
